The Old Family Red Nose strain was a strain of Pitbulls bred in around the mid-1800s. They were known as Old Family Dogs. These dogs then developed to what we now know as the Old Family Red Nose strain, which is now used to distinguish the Red Nose Pits as an individual segment of the bloodlines of the American Pit Bull Terrier.
